Yangshuo panorama//Landscape photography

I remember in the 90s you could get panoramic cameras, or panoramic film or something, and I thought it was really cool for about five minutes before I went back to my normal camera. And I am guessing panoramic pictures wont ever be my specialty, but being in Yangshuo and watching the stunning scenery, at least I had to give it a shot, and I was also kind of curious how it would turn out editing the panoramas in Photoshop. The picture is taken at the top of one of the Yangshuo mountains or hills, called Moon Hill, it has a hole in the middle of the mountain which is kind of interesting, and needless to say the views are great after climbing the approximately 1400 really steep steps to get all the way up.

Ok, back to the photography. First of all, the photoshop command called “photomerge” which automatically puts the panorama picture together for you is just amazing. I only had to do a tiny little bit of cropping and some minor perspective control, other than that it did all the work for me in just one single click. The shots were taken during daytime, worst possible time (not really sunny, but still a lot of harsch light), and I didnt have a tripod or anything, I just shot, this was really just for fun.
